Bio
Ethan Goldstein is a partner and principal engineer of Closed Loop. He is a builder at heart, curious about the nature of the world and how to apply that understanding towards the design and construction of products.
He spent seven years at Intel, developing into his team's expert on voltage regulator design, power integrity and measurement systems. In addition to those areas of expertise, he took on multiple roles that drew upon System Architecture, Software / Firmware Development, Signal Processing, Machine Learning, PCB Layout and Schematic Design.
Ethan designed the power delivery network for the first ARM CPU validation system, built on Intel 18A, at the time, Intel’s cutting-edge manufacturing process. His other time at Intel was spent focused on development of high speed / high power computing systems and proprietary measurement systems.
Ethan lives in Vancouver, Canada with his wife, two dogs and two cats. In his free time, he plays piano, video games and cooks for his family. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Victoria, and a Diploma of Technology in Mechatronics and Robotics from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
